Ginger dressing is one of my favorites, before I gave up gluten the store bought ginger dressing was good but not like the restaurant style. The Japanese dressing at this restaurant was amazing, I looked every where to recreate it but every store bought dressing I looked at had wheat in it. Not one bottle was gluten free, this made a me very frustrated. After searching Pinterest I found this amazing recipe it was so close but I made changes like I always do. It was so good and close to the original that I was so surprised.

                                         ginger dressing

Ginger Dressing

  • 7 oz. or 3 lg carrots
  • 4 oz. or 1/2 lg onion
  • 2 Tbsp real Ginger or 2" piece
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup Braggs Amino Acids
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil

  1. Peel and chop up carrots, onion and ginger. Add the your blender or food processor along with everything besides oil.
  2. Once everything is processed add oil slowly. When I measure out oil I put the sesame oil it the measuring cup then top it off with the rest of oil to measure 3/4 cup.
  3. Once you have your dressing pour into glass bottle and it keeps about 2 weeks.

I used my vitamix blender and it helps tremendously I’ll share the link of how to find it. The blender is hard to replicate, I creates everything with absolutely no lumps. So if you are looking fo the perfect blender for amazing smoothies look no further than one of these babies. I’ll show the item I got on the bottom!

It blended up perfectly no lumps or clumps.

This dressing was everything I hoped it would be and it was so quick to make. A lot cheaper then store bought dressing, I love saving money so this was a no brainer. TIP: I bought a little piece of ginger from my grocery store it was $5.99 a pound I went to my local fruit stand it was $1.99 a pound. Woah that was highway robbery, I know where I will buy it from now on.  I knew everything that went into making this dressing no preservatives or additives.. Greatness!!
