This post is an awesome gluten-free flour blend but it also has affiliate links, it costs you nothing but gives me a percentage when you buy!
I have tried every gluten-free flour blend out there and most of it is good.
Premix is ok King Authors good but Pillsbury I don’t like, it’s pretty gritty. The thing I have found is it may cost a little bit to buy the flours but they last a little bit longer.
I am a freak and I like to make it a challenge, mixing them is fun to me. I’m like an not so evil mad scientist that loves to wow people when my gluten-free foods that are not gritty, like many have come to know.
Depending on what type you are looking for, this a non-gritty way but if you like to stay away from rice as much as possible like us. I use Bob’s Red Mill Sweet Sorghum in its place. You can use either one or use a mixture, it’s your lab do what you want.
With this mix, I have made light and fluffy Chickless and Dumplings. This made the best dumplings ever, I even prefer them over regular dumplings. I used the rice flour in this mixture, so here it goes what I used to make heavenly fluffy non-gritty gluten-free flour.
I also made this awesome coffee cake which is amazingly extra fluffy. So far this seems to be an awesome non-gritty cake or bread like substitute. I did use this mixture in a cinnamon roll dough and it didn’t seems to rise. A cake or dumpling type of recipe, this is perfect. I found this perfect cinnamon roll recipe that you must try.
I do love to use oat flour I grind myself, which you will find a lot in my recipes.
So feel free to ask any questions or tell me your successes or even your failures. I love to know what works and what doesn’t.
This is the rice flour I have found to be perfect.
